[soooo he's been dragging his feet about this, but since he's going ahead and leaving flowers and a note for Jolyne, he might as well get this part over with, too. Jonathan's letter is actually in an envelope, though Maverick luckily realized how it might be difficult for a bat to open an envelope, do it isn't sealed shut. Might still be hard to get to, but...look, he's trying to be conscientious of the olden times here!]

Didn't know if bats had any particular sensitivity to the real things so went with this instead.
I read that blue hyacinths meant something about being sincere and making peace. Don't know a ton about floriography so if that's wrong it ain't my fuck up, just know that's what I'm trying to say here.
It ain't a good excuse but I was on edge about shit before the garbage we got into. Shouldn't have taken it out on you I guess.
