Jonathan is a spirit presently bound to the body of an Egyptian Fruit Bat, with all the strengths and weaknesses it brings with it. About the size of a large mouse, he often wears knit onesies with buttons made for he himself to be able to operate, as little else can be worn around his wings. Since coming to Kaisou, his alternate great-grandson, Josuke, has taken to knitting alternative ones.

As of March 2024, he has acquired minor monster changes- one allows him to shapeshift in to the visage of his original self; an impressively muscular englishman of 6'5'', albeit one that retains his indeed normal soft voice. The other change is present in all forms, and namely a gemstone located on his forehead.

An explanation of Hamon (as it stands in Daybreak anyway) will go here;

As a basic primer for the time being, Hamon in the AU Setting is the weaponized use of inner 'Radiance', or 'Candle Flame'- while perpetually present, it relies on a steady pattern of breathing while actively in use, and sustaining the breathing pattern allows one to gather a store of this energy for grander techniques.

Elementally, it is best likened to 'Holy', or 'Light'- and is the natural weapon against undead, unholy, and otherwise 'dark (evil, rotted)' beings.

A full write up about Jonathan's house (and dog house) will go here; for now, for a quick visual, it's nearly identical to the house seen in Totoro.

Technically a bag of holding...but he's got a personality. When Jonathan tries to make use of Bob, an angry wild animal comes charging out 1 out of 4 times!

Given how dangerous that is for Jonathan, Specifically, Bob just hangs out on the coat hooks looking threatening.

A bear that was inhabiting the bedroom of Jonathan's new house when he got there. While it escaped, Jonathan occasionally sees it in the trees near his yard.

Most likely, Jonathan is too small for it to really care he's there.

Lil Cacti are curious, shy little anthropomorphic plants who love to listen and transcribe stories. Somehow Jonathan has two, but it seems they like the other's company; they even have their own writing style!

The first Lil Cactus, who has a red flower, writes with precision and keeps things concise. The second Lil Cactus, with a pink flower, likes to make things flowery, bringing it closer to Jonathan's dictation.

Neither of them seem able to keep up with him exactly, however.

Jonathan's Tea Friend is a seemingly normal glass teapot, other than the part where they're alive and walk on four legs. They're very helpful, capable of holding things like spoons and even tea leaves, which has made tea time a much easier process for Jonathan over all.

Jonathan's Tea Friend appears to be partly porcelain, not unlike the teapots of his own era.

Alfred is an Indeedee that Jonathan captured in Kanto with the help of Josuke, as part of the latter's holiday gift to him. He's a Psychic/Normal Type pokemon, with the following abilities:

Empathy (Limited to 1 room, with player permission)

Telekinesis (Limit weight/size of a grown man at one time)

Alfred's ability is Inner Focus, which prevents him from flinching in most situations and prevents attack from being lowered.

His moveset at the moment is unknown, as he has not yet been used for combat.

Alfred is a diligent pokemon dedicated to assisting Jonathan in his every day life; he is in essence JoJo's 'service animal'/butler. Though he seems to perpetually be frowning, Alfred has been known to express amusement at times.

Thanks to the magic of the Birthday Skeleton, Jonathan received the greatest possible gift he could ever have- his childhood dog!

The beloved harlequin Great Dane is here to romp!

Jonathan came back from the Goodwill with a kitten, which he's named 'Freya' in honor of the Norse goddess whose chariot was pulled by similar seeming felines. She's rather docile, but likes to play with the bubbles and laser pen he got!

She's going to be very fluffy one day.

A small round bell, though in Jonathan's case it's actually about the size of his head. It's on a little ribbon, and when used he wears it wrapped around himself.

When the bell is rung, it scares away Spirit Monsters.

A strange device that can wash away the 'sins' and dirt of fuzzy worms. Jonathan appears to use it for his laundry.

It's a top of the line stereo system, but sometimes the voices of the dead come through the speakers.

A round shield, and nearly indestructible due to being made of Vibranium metal. Jonathan can't really use it for anything but shield surfing right now, but at least it's durable enough for it?

A curious mask, and much too large for Jonathan to wear. It hangs on one of the walls right now.

Apparently, putting it on makes the moon look...Spooky. And close.

A large bottle of shampoo that, unfortunately, makes his fur grow to rapunzel length. It sits in the washroom with a big 'do not use' label on it.

Jonathan has wondered if one can knit with bat fur because of his encounter with it.

A lego statue of a bat. It looks exactly like Jonathan- how bizarre!

A race car bed! ...And it actually drives! And it's 'him' sized!

There isn't actually a steering wheel, but that doesn't stop him from using his wings to try turning while drifting on the hotwheel tracks.

Jonathan has 2 dining membership cards with differing consequences;

The first is a membership card for 'Void Denny's'. When he visits now, he's given a random food item from another world! ...Though the food is often cursed, sadly.

The second is a membership card for 'Olive Garden'. It doesn't seem to have any magical side-effects, but they do offer unlimited breadsticks.

It's a snuggie, but it's enchanted to always be warm and cozy.

It's also massive, so it just sort of drapes over Jonathan and Jonathan's bed at night.

It's a normal otamatone, size and all.

Because of this, he seems to be approaching its use as one would approach a cello.

The 'Soul Device' is a weapon which is stored in an app on Jonathan's phone- handily held in his korok pocket most of the time. A visual reference is in the works, but its details are located here.

As of March, the device is equipped with the Fire Sword and Arc Bolt elemental gems.

A whetstone with magical properties- when used on any blade, it imbues it with the power of fire for a brief time. Currently Jonathan is unsure he has much use for it, as his Soul Device- the best 'blade' he has- is already of Fire element.

'A whetstone that when used on a blade, it will make it become a fireblade for an hour.'

It's a real hoverboard!

Jonathan is rather surprised that it supports his weight as a shapeshifted entity.

An actual hoverboard that can hover up to 5 feet off the ground.

...Why does he keep tripping on something?

A ring that cannot be picked up, it just shows up with magic sensing skills. Due to being unable to pick it up, you cannot return it to Gacha Goodwill.

A notebook he received from the Goodwill. When he started using it to keep notes however, it started writing back! ...It doesn't seem especially bright. Or law-abiding. He finds it amusing though so he's still using it, if at least to try and correct its behavior.

A leatherbound notebook that tries to give you advice depending on what you write in it. Unfortunately, most of their suggestions are bad and illegal.

An Earth Elemental ability; Jonathan is naturally difficult to knock over as a result, despite weighing only a few ounces.

A General ability; Jonathan can heal small cuts and bruises on himself, and for others.

In Jonathan's case, he manifests this ability with the same flame as his Hamon- the two are technically unrelated however.

Jonathan is capable of creating a realm about the size of a walk-in closet; only himself, and invited guests are able to enter.

He tends to use this ability as a sort of portable camper, what with the fact that a walk-in closet is much the same as a castle manor for him.

An ability tied to Jonathan's transformation into a Puca, specifically a Carbuncle.

It enables him to shapeshift into any form that is humanoid; he typically uses it to resemble his human life, but the form is somewhat unstable, and he will lose shape if he loses focus.

It is strong enough to be used in combat however.

A manifestation of his transformation into a Carbuncle Puca; the gem rests on his forehead in nearly all forms, though it seems to scale somewhat in size.

Provided the gem is not damaged, it allows him to recover from any injury- the speed at which he does so is still based somewhat in reality though, unless otherwise aided by other healing powers.

A Fire Elemental ability; granted through the power of Faeries.

Jonathan notices no difference, but it seems when he speaks with determination to inspire others, it has a literal consequence.

You can inspire up to 4 people to have their strength boosted. Must give a shonen speech of some kind. (2x strength, 5 minutes)
