<JOJO...?> Technically this message doesn't exist. Jonathan doesn't actually have a laptop. I just needed an Inbox.

[He's truly glad this is text, because the look on his face certainly screams "are you serious?" at this particular moment.]

Which part do I need explain? [Nailed it. Can't say something stupid and might regret later if you have specific instructions.]

Why would you ever have reason to be worried about an answer from me?

[Sir, who hurt yo- oh wait, he knows exactly who.]

I feel I should ask why this has come up at least once before and what you think I'm insinuating?

Merely having greater care in your own wellbeing does not mean you do not care about the lives of others. Nor does it mean that they carry a lesser weight. If you do not care in yourself then you cannot care for anyone else, so by that definition you should put your own needs before others so you are capable of helping them.

Though that is not what I was trying to say. I am saying to think about the people around you: the people that care about you and to think about how they may feel about your actions. How what you may do will impact them and if it is still something you should be doing. While we have control over ourselves, what we do will still impact those around us.

Particularly given this losing parts of yourself after dying, I would say it's even more important that you keep that in mind. Because without your memories, your lived experiences, are you truly still the same person?

[SIR YOU IGNORED THE REST OF IT.]

How many times have you died in this place thus far?

[F i n e. Two times isn't that much in that time, he guesses.]

Somehow that doesn't surprise me, given how people seem to act around here. But I reiterate my point, once again, especially with the loss nonsense.

It may be better for some people to lose memories here, but for others, I'd say it'd be quite the opposite.

[Something something Jonathan is basically a Saint and he'll be damned if this place screws that over.]

[Sorry you have to learn the hard way that this man is a little aggressive about protecting the things around him he actually gives an iota of a damn about, Jonathan.]

That's perhaps the best I can ask from you in this situation. I take it that you're back home now?

[Scandalous, sir.]

If you feel up to it, I certainly wouldn't decline.

Because I do share the quarters with someone else who I'm not terribly sure what his thoughts on visitors is. Though it's up to you, I wouldn't be fussed either way.
